Three Card Poker, sometimes also known as Tri Card Poker or Trey Card Poker, is an incredibly popular casino game in Germany. It is believed to have originated in the 1800s in the United States and is similar to the game of three-card brag.

Three Card Poker is a game of two hands. The dealer and the player each are dealt three cards facedown. After examining their hands, players can choose to either "fold" or "raise." If a player folds, he forfeits the current hand and his bet. If a player choose to raises, he must place a bet equal to the initial ante that was placed.
The dealer then reveals his cards and compares them to the players’. A qualified hand consists of a Queen, 6 and 4 or higher. If the hand of the dealer does not qualify, the player wins the ante and the raise, but his original wager is a push. If the dealer’s hand qualifies but is lower than the players’, the player is paid out on the ante as well as the raise at even money (1:1). If the dealer’s hand beats the players’, the player loses both initially placed wagers.
The objective of Three Card Poker is to win the pot either by having the higher ranking hand than the dealer or by bluffing the dealer to fold. In order to win the pot, players need to be familiar with the rules and know how to bluff and read their opponents.
At the beginning of the game, each player is dealt three cards facedown. After examining their hands, they can choose to either fold or raise. By folding, they give up their cards and wagers, whereas by raising, they choose to place a bet equal to the original ante already on the table.
Once all players have made their decision, the dealer reveals his cards and compares them to the players’. The dealer’s hand must qualify in order for the game to continue, and a qualifying hand is any combination of a Queen, 6 and 4 or higher. If the dealer’s hand does not qualify, the players win the ante and raise chips but their initial wager is returned to them.
If the dealer’s hand does qualify but is lower than the players’, the player is paid out on both the ante and the raise at even money (1:1). If the dealer’s hand beats the players’, they lose both initially placed wagers.
